It is with pleasure that we will welcome you in guest rooms in our house ideally located between Orléans and Blois, along the Loire, on the road of castles.
Our village, Saint-Ay, enjoys a privileged location from where you can discover the riches of the city of Orléans which is 15 minutes by strolling through its old cobbled streets, full of charm that can also be admired by stopping on one of the Many sunny terraces or by choosing the romantic ballad along the Quays.
You can also enjoy the beauty of the Loire River with the hiking trail (GR3) that runs along the house or with the Loire bike.
But also visit the castles nearby: Meung sur Loire, Beaugency, La Ferté Saint Aubin, Sully sur Loire, Chambord, Blois…..
As well as discovering and tasting regional wines (to be consumed in moderation) thanks to the wine route.
For the short story: The house is next to a castle, the castle of the Harrow whose main activity was viticulture. Our house, built in 1789 (Big renovation in 1930 which explains its allure of this era) was, in Priori, reserved for the staff of the castle as lodging but also as workshop…… Hence his name! The town Hall is currently working on the history of the castle and we hope to be able to say more about the activity and the life that reigned here since the sixteenth century.
For your rest, we offer two bed and breakfasts:
- Room "Côté Loire" accommodating 2 persons, with private bathroom and WC
- "Garden-side" room accommodating up to four persons (two adults and two children or four adults) consisting of a double room with adjoining private living room which can be converted into a room for two persons Twin beds), all with a private shower and WC.
The breakfasts will be served according to your desires, inside or on the terrace, and we'll do everything to make your stay as pleasant and peaceful as possible.
